专利说明:
DEVICE FOR CONNECTING PIPES FOR SIPHON The field of the present invention is that of sanitary appliances and including sewage systems associated with these sanitary appliances. The invention relates more particularly to siphons used in equipment such as sinks, sinks, shower trays, baths, etc. and, more specifically, devices for sealing at the outlet of these siphons. More generally it is applicable to any device ensuring on the one hand the sealing between two tubular elements and on the other hand their mutual solidarity. Usually, the type of connection between the outlet pipe of a siphon and the sewage pipe is by the engagement of a male pipe in a female pipe, associated with the establishment of a seal which can be either a conical seal, a square seal, said US seal, or finally an O-ring. In the case of a conical seal it is necessary to tighten a nut on the female tube to push the seal against a bearing face and compress against the male tube; the tightening force of the nut depend on the seal, which is the primary function provided by the seal, but also the resistance of the tube to the tear, which is a secondary function. Crushing the seal by the nut causes it to be pressurized against the male tube and therefore the creation of a large friction force, likely to oppose an attempted tearing of the male tube. In the case of an American joint, the conical seal is simply replaced by a square section seal, placed between the end face of the female tube and a bearing face of a nut. The operation is the same as above: again the tightening of the nut conditions the seal and the resistance to tearing. Finally in the case of an O-ring, which is positioned, before assembly, in a housing created for this purpose in the inner face of the outer tube (or in the outer face of the inner tube) there is no nut but a simple force engagement of the male tube in the female tube which causes the compression of the seal and ensures sealing; but this solution does not guarantee the blockage of tearing of the tube. These devices of the prior art have the disadvantage that they require (where there is one) a tightening of the large nut, otherwise the resistance to tearing and / or sealing are not properly ensured. . It follows a time spent by the installer more important. The present invention aims to overcome these disadvantages by providing a junction device between a male pipe and a female pipe which is quick to install and which ensures both a good seal and good resistance to tearing. For this purpose, the invention relates to a connection device for female piping adapted to receive a male pipe, said female pipe being carrying at its end a flexible plastic gasket extending from said end and susceptible to take a V-shape inside said female pipe and to be compressed radially under the effect of the introduction of the male pipe to seal the connection, characterized in that it further comprises a ring in which can freely slide said male pipe, said ring being adapted to be fixed on said female pipe and to cooperate at a bearing face with the V-tip of said seal so as to ensure its retention in translation during an attempt to tear said male pipe out of the female pipe. The translation retention of the seal prevents the latter from unfolding and ensures a large friction surface between the seal and the male pipe during an attempted tear. The invention also relates to a sanitary appliance siphon for which the outlet tube of the siphon body is equipped with such a device for its connection to the discharge pipe. Advantageously, the seal carried by the end of said female pipe is produced by co-injection with the material of the outlet pipe. In a preferred embodiment the outer face of the outlet tube has a thread adapted to cooperate with a thread carried by the inner face of said ring. In another embodiment the ring is fixed on the outlet tube by a bayonet system. Preferably the outlet tube has a stop limiting the depression of said ring on the outlet tube so as to avoid or limit the compression of the seal between the end of the outlet tube and the bearing face of the ring. The presence of this stop allows the seal not to be pinched by the ring and eliminates the risk of it being damaged. Preferably, the inner face of the outlet tube has stop elements limiting the introduction of the discharge pipe into the outlet tube. The invention will be better understood, and other objects, details, features and advantages thereof will become more clearly apparent in the following detailed explanatory description of several embodiments of the invention given as examples. purely illustrative and non-limiting examples, with reference to the attached schematic drawings. In these drawings: - Figure 1 is a side view, partly in section, of the connection of the discharge of a siphon according to one embodiment of the invention, in the situation before assembly; - Figure 2 is a side view, partly in section, the connection of the discharge of a siphon, after introduction of the discharge pipe in the outlet tube of the siphon; - Figure 3 is a side view, partially in section, the connection of the discharge of a siphon, after screwing the seal retaining nut. Referring to Figures 1 to 3, there is shown a siphon body 1 having an outlet tube 2, horizontal and substantially cylindrical, forming a female receptacle for a male discharge pipe 4. The end 11 of the outlet tube 2 is extended by a flexible plastic seal 3, co-injected with the plastic of the tube during manufacture, which is intended to create the seal between the outlet tube 2 and the discharge pipe 4. This seal is presented as a lip having the shape of a cone folded on itself, so that its section has the shape of a V. One of the branches of the V is attached, because of the realization by co-injection, to the end 11 of the outlet tube 2 while the second leg of the V is floating inside the same tube 2. The outlet tube has on its outer face, on the side of the end 11 carrying the seal 3, a male thread 6 adapted to cooperate with the female thread 7 of a nut ring 5. It also has, also on its face external, a stop 9 which blocks the longitudinal displacement of the ring 5 during its screwing on the outlet tube 2. It finally has on its inner face longitudinal projections 8 on which abuts the discharge pipe 4 during its introduction in the outlet tube 2. The device comprises a ring 5 which slides on the discharge pipe 4 without interfering with it and which has on its inner face a thread 7 adapted to cooperate with the thread 6 of the outlet tube 2. In alternative version fixing the ring on the outlet tube can be performed by a bayonet system. This ring has a bearing face 10 which, during screwing of the ring on the outlet tube, is placed in front of the tip of the V formed by the seal 3 and prevents it from moving back during an attempt 4. With reference to FIG. 3, it can be seen that the stop 9 for screwing the ring 5 onto the outlet tube 2 is placed in such a way that the seal 3 is not, or only slightly, compressed at the end of screwing of the ring 5. We will now describe the operation of the connection device according to the invention when connecting the discharge pipe to the body of the siphon. At the beginning of the operation the elements are as shown in Figure 1. The ring 5 is positioned on the discharge pipe 4 on which it slides freely. It can also be prepositioned on the outlet tube 2 with its first threads engaged on the thread 6 of the outlet tube. In both cases the seal 3 is at rest, with the free leg of the V protruding freely inside the outlet tube 2. The operator approaches the discharge pipe and engages it in the outlet tube 2; in doing so, it compresses the seal 3 against the inner part of the outlet tube, reducing the opening angle of the V (see Fig. 2). The operator pushes the drain pipe deep enough so that the seal 3 is properly compressed and that the mechanical connection between the pipe and the tube is ensured. The depression of the pipe 4 can be pushed until it comes to the stops 8 which protrude inside the outlet tube 2. The operator completes the operation by approaching, in the first case, the ring 5 of the end of the outlet tube 2 and engaging the threads of the two parts with each other. He then squeezes the ring on the outlet tube so as to keep it in place. It may be noted that the tightening of the ring 5 does not involve any additional radial compression of the seal and therefore has no effect on the tightness of the connection. The bearing face 10 of this ring is even positioned slightly set back relative to the end 11 of the outlet tube, so that the seal is not crushed during tightening and does not deteriorate. The function provided by the ring 5 is indeed to maintain the seal in the folded position and to prevent its eventual unwinding during an attempt to tear the discharge pipe. If there was no ring, during such an attempt, the discharge pipe would cause the seal 3 with him, which would take place and leave his V shape to take a shape in length. The seal would then oppose more than a low resistance to tearing. On the other hand, the presence of the ring 5 prevents the unwinding of the seal, which retains its flattened V shape and remains in radial pressure on the discharge pipe. The extraction of the discharge pipe can then be done only with a sliding of its outer portion on the inner surface of the V joint, which requires overcoming the frictional forces associated with the contact of these two materials and the corresponding pressure. The present invention, which has been described in the case of a siphon, is also adapted to the connection of two pipes, one being a male pipe which engages in a female pipe, from lofs on the one hand that piping female has at its end a V-shaped collapsible joint and that it is provided with securing means with a ring surrounding the male pipe and secondly that said ring can serve as an abutment seal to prevent its unwinding when an attempt of tearing. Although the invention has been described in connection with a particular embodiment, it is obvious that it is not limited thereto and that it comprises all the technical equivalents of the means described and their combinations if they are within the scope of the invention.
